I offer individual therapy and couples therapy.
Individual sessions focus on building self-understanding and healthier coping around anxiety, depression, grief, and life transitions.
Couples work is my area of specialization; couples sessions help partners move from feeling disconnected to feeling secure, understood, and truly seen — using Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) as my primary approach. I'm LGBTQ+ affirming and welcome clients and couples of all backgrounds and identities.

Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), developed by Dr. Sue Johnson, helps couples move beyond recurring conflicts and connect more deeply. Grounded in decades of attachment research, EFT is one of the most well-researched and effective approaches to couples therapy. Rather than focusing only on solving problems or learning communication skills, EFT helps you understand the emotional patterns and unmet needs that keep you feeling stuck and disconnected. Together, we'll explore what's happening beneath the surface of your conflicts and make sense of why you and your partner react the way you do. EFT helps couples learn to communicate from a place of openness and vulnerability rather than criticism, blame, or withdrawal. Instead of pushing each other away when you're hurting, you'll develop a new way of expressing your emotions and needs that fosters understanding, empathy and trust, and deepens intimacy.

The first step would be to contact me, via email, phone call, or text, to schedule a free 20-minute phone consultation. In this phone call, you will have the opportunity to share what you are experiencing and looking for support with, I will share with you how I work, and together we can determine if we feel like a good match for working together. If you would like to move forward after this phone call, we will schedule a first session. Sessions are generally 50 minutes weekly, but this can change based on your specific needs and goals for therapy. I also offer 90-minute sessions for couples if that is of interest.

I offer both in-person and telehealth therapy sessions. I see clients in-person in Atwater Village and in West LA. For Telehealth, I use HIPAA-compliant Zoom and I will send you a permanent Zoom link to be used for all of our sessions.

Yes. What you share in our sessions is confidential and protected by law. The only exceptions are situations where I'm legally or ethically required to break confidentiality — such as risk of harm to yourself or others, or suspected abuse of a child, elder, or dependent adult. I'll always explain these limits clearly at the start of our work together.

I have a 24-hour cancellation policy, so please let me know 24 hours in advance if you ever need to cancel or reschedule, otherwise the session fee will be charged.

I currently do not accept insurance. I am an out-of-network provider and can provide you with a monthly superbill for you to submit to your own insurance for potential reimbursement, pending details of your specific plan.
Here are some questions you’ll want to ask your insurance provider:
Does my plan include out-of-network mental health coverage?
Is there a limit to the number of sessions per calendar year?
Do I have a deductible and has it been met yet?
What percentage do you pay for out-of-network mental health benefits and up to what allowed amount?
-
My fee is $250 for a 50-minute session, for both individual and couples sessions. I have a limited number of reduced-fee spaces; please reach out to discuss availability and options.
